Kids get their hands dirty in the Youth Garden while learning what it takes to grow a healthy harvest. Each month focuses on a different topic. For kids 5-7 years old.

INSTRUCTORS: PHYLLIS SAVAGE & BETSY SZYMCZAK

In this hands-on workshop, children will learn to make a miniature dish garden for their favorite fairy, princess, dragon, dinosaur, or other magical friend. Bring your own miniature friend from home if you like.

For ages 6 and up.

We’ll explore a nature theme and take a closer look at what nature has to offer on a guided walk around our mile-long loop trail.

Member $15 per child, Non-member $20 per child
You can CAN with your kids! Come learn the basics of how fruits grow and how to make them last after harvesting. We’ll work together to prepare foods for a canning demonstration and send you home with simple recipes to try on your own.

This class includes the handling and preparation of fresh food products.
