Wild Thing-costumed kids are free on Wild Rumpus Day

Families and children are invited to participate in Wild Rumpus Day from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30, at Tower Hill Botanical Garden in Boylston, Mass.  Any youth under age 18 dressed in a “Where the Wild Things Are” themed costume will receive free admission for the day. Inspired by “The Wild Rumpus: A Stickwork Sculpture” by artist Patrick Doughtery, Tower Hill will celebrate with a Wild Rumpus of its own, including “Where the Wild Things Are” themed crafts and garden scavenger hunts, as well as a Wild Rumpus Parade and group reading of the book. For more information, including admission prices for adults, please visit towerhillbg.org or call 508-869-6111. Tower Hill Botanic Garden is a nonprofit with trails, gardens, conservatories and more located at 11 French Drive in Boylston, just outside Worcester.
