Facilities for the
Physically Challenged
The Stoddard Education and Visitors Center, Lawn and Secret Gardens are accessible. Wheelchair available on request at Information Desk. No pets allowed except assistance animals. Parking spaces for the physically challenged on Allee Drive.

Directions from Boston:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 11A for Route 495. Take Route 495 north to Exit 25B for Route 290 west. Follow toward Worcester. Take Exit 24, Church Street, Northborough/Boylston. Follow to Boylston 3 miles. Entrance to Tower Hill on right; dark red sign designates entrance
Directions from Providence, Rhode Island:
From Route 95 north, take Route 146 north exit. Follow for approximately 35 miles to Worcester.
In Worcester, take the exit for Route 290 east. Follow through the city to Exit 24, Church Street, Northborough/Boylston. Follow to Boylston 3 miles. Entrance to Tower Hill on right; dark red sign designates entrance
Directions from Hartford, Connecticut, and Springfield, Massachusetts:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike East toward Boston. Follow for approximately 40 miles to Exit 10, Route 290 Worcester. Take Route 290 east. Follow through the city to Exit 24, Church Street, Northborough/Boylston. Follow to Boylston 3 miles. Entrance to Tower Hill on right; dark red sign designates entrance
Directions from the North or Northwest:
Take Route 2 toward Leominster. Take Route 190 South to Route 140 -- Exit 5. Turn left on Route 140 South.Continue on Route 140 through West Boylston to traffic light at intersection of Route 140 and Route 70. Turn left onto Route 70. Travel 1 mile through center of Boylston continue on Route 70 another 1/2 mile until you come to a blinking yellow light at French Drive (blue highway sign will tell you to turn right for Tower Hill Botanic Garden). Turn right and proceed a short distance to the entrance to Tower Hill Botanic Garden on left; dark red sign designates entrance

OR
Take Route 2 to Exit 35 -- Route 70 Lancaster Lunenburg. Follow Route 70 through Lancaster and Clinton until you pass Tahanto Regional High School on your right. Approx. 1-1/4 miles further along Route 70, make a left at the blinking yellow light at French Drive (blue highway sign will indicate a left turn for Tower Hill). Tower Hill Botanic Garden is on left; dark red sign designates entrance
Public Transportation from Boston:
Take the Commuter Rail from South Station or Back Bay Station to Worcester (Union Station). Connect with WRTA Busline #17 to Clinton. Get off at French Drive after the Boylston Common. You can call the WRTA @ 508.791.9782 for a current bus schedule.
Directions from New York City:
Take the Henry Hudson Parkway (Route 9) north to the Saw Mill Parkway, north. Follow for approximately 15 miles to Route 684 north. Follow to Exit for Route 84 east to Danbury. Follow Route 84 through Hartford, Connecticut, and up to the Massachusetts Turnpike, east. Follow for approx. 10 miles to Exit 10, Route 290 Worcester. Take Route 290 east. Follow through the city to Exit 24, Church Street, Northborough/Boylston. Follow to Boylston 3 miles. Entrance to Tower Hill on right; dark red sign designates entrance.
Tower Hill Botanic Garden Etiquette Policies
For your own enjoyment and safety, and to protect and preserve the plants, please follow these simple rules:

• Stay on paths or lawns. • Dispose your trash appropriately. • Park in designated areas only.
• Enjoy your picnic, but no alcohol please. • Footwear and shirts must be worn at all times.
• Leave all plants, flowers and wildlife undisturbed.
• Leave pets at home. Assistance animals welcome.
• Youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.• Commercial/wedding photography permitted by appointment only.
• Enjoy the tranquility, Radios and musical instruments not allowed. iPods and MP3 devices with headphones permitted.
• Be considerate when using cell phones. • No smoking in the buildings, along trails through fields and the woodlands.
• No climbing on rock walls or statuary, running, barbecuing or active sports (frisbee, ball playing, kite flying, biking etc.).

Note: Cross country skiing and snowshoeing permitted on trails in winter months during regular garden hours.
