SPRING INTO WELLNESS

10AM–4PM

Explore our trail network in a fun run/walk, take a yoga class, and try a range of wellness activities and demonstrations.

Programs for Adults:

  • Vendors, 10am – 4pm
    Vendors selling herbal remedies and information tables on ergonomic gardening and gardening for wellness.
  • Yoga Demonstrations, 11:30am – 12pm, 12:30 – 1 pm
    All skill levels welcome to experience the benefits of yoga in these drop-in demonstrations.
  • Tai Chi Demonstrations, 10:30 – 11am, 1:30 – 2pm
    Try Tai Chi with Tower Hill’s Tai Chi instructor, Rose Lee, in two drop-in demonstrations
  • Drop-in Walk/Run the Loop Trail, 11am – 3pm
    Please note the loop trail is snow-shoe accessible only.
  • Ergonomic Tips for Healthy Gardening, 2:30 – 3pm
    A brief talk on how to reduce the pain and strain of gardening by using proper tools and body mechanics.

Programs for Kids and Families:

  • Planting Sugar Snap Peas, 10am – 4pm
    Drop in and plant peas to take home and plant at home. Sugar snap peas are a cool-season vegetable and can tolerate light frosts even when the plants are small. They’re great to plant in your garden in the early spring!
  • Yoga Walk in the Garden, 10am – 4pm
    Try yoga poses on a special trail for kids in the gardens. Branch out as a tree, salute the sun, and be a mountain.
  • Drop-in Walk/Run the Loop Trail, 11am – 3pm
    Please note the loop trail is snow-shoe accessible only.
