Use a small handmade, simple loom, yarn and found natural objects to weave a wall hanging that tells a pictorial story. Students will bring home loom to continue creating on their own.

Tower Hill is partnering with the Cambridge Science Festival to host a day full of workshops, demonstrations and booths for the whole family that focus on “Bringing Horticulture into Your Home”, even without a yard. Workshops, demonstrations and booths will focus on DIY projects, houseplants, container gardening, growing food, planting for pollinators, and other topics related to home and apartment gardening.

Spring leaves unfurling invite us to mix a variety of greens as we depict that tender time of year, with new growth in gardens. Lime-green, acidic-green, army-green, pine-green, even russet-green among the leaves of some trees: You don’t have to name those greens to have a good time painting with them.
