For those looking to begin the new year with healthy habits, Tower Hill Botanic Garden has a lineup of nature- and plant-focused activities to help, including yoga, forest bathing, herbal remedies, chef demonstrations, meditation, family hikes, vegetable gardening tips and more.
Visitors are welcome to join in any or all activities that focus on physical health, including Forest Bathing on Jan. 17 and Feb. 8; Yoga by Nature on Wednesdays at 6 p.m.; and a Mini-Retreat for Peace and Deep Relaxation on Feb. 26. Tower Hill also offers Sunday afternoon tours of our indoor, subtropical conservatories.
For families looking to exercise outside, a Family Winter Walk is on Jan. 28, a Family Winter Tree Identification Walk is on Feb. 4, a Family Winter Tracking Walk is on Feb. 18, and a Family Snowshoe Walk is on Feb. 19.
Tower Hill is also offering a variety of opportunities to strengthen mental health from an Introduction to Zentangle on Jan. 22 to Catch the Coloring Craze on March 19. Join a Fire Cider Workshop on Jan. 28, Explore the World in a Cup of Tea on March 5, sign up your teens and pre-teens for a Kid’s After-School Cooking Class in March, or register for a Spring Family Cooking Class on March 26. Tower Hill’s popular Chef Demonstrations and Tastings return this winter on Jan. 14, Jan. 21, and March 18.
