Tower Hill Botanic Garden is pleased to announce that for the third consecutive summer, the nonprofit is teaming up with the Highland Street Foundation for the eighth annual Free Fun Fridays initiative. The statewide program – which Tower Hill will host on Friday, July 29, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (last admission will be 6:30 p.m.) – offers visitors no cost admission to many of the most treasured cultural institutions in Massachusetts. Since 2009, Free Fun Fridays have drawn more than half a million visitors to venues throughout the Bay State. This year, Tower Hill, set on 132 acres of formal gardens and nature trails, is proud to be among the 80 participating organizations. There will be something for the whole family at Tower Hill, including scavenger hunts, blooming flowers, the wildlife pond, easy hikes, children’s crafts, and more. The 2015 Free Fun Fridays calendar of events continues through Aug. 26. A complete list of all participating venues and dates can be found at highlandstreet.org.
